After countries have been at war, normally the winner of that war commands the peace treaty as well as the final borders. This has been standard as far back as written history; some historians would even argue it goes further back as such evidence has been found on cave wall drawings.

The only thing raining down faster than rockets into Israel from Gaza are the protests and hypocritical condemnation aimed at Israel throughout the world demanding Israel stop abusing and killing poor innocent Palestinians.

Does It All Come Down To This?

As of Sunday morning 116 missiles had been fired in to Israel from Gaza in a 24 hour period. The IDF has raised its alert level in the area of the Golan Heights on the Syrian border after firing in to Syria for the first time since the 1973 Yom Kippur war. At what point does Israel act accordingly?

Like everyone else living in the U.S., I will be glad when this election is finally over. But the question must be asked, can the change of the President really change the current situation in the Middle East?
